Service Description

PARATUS Basic Pistol Proficiency Program The PARATUS Basic Pistol Proficiency Program is a structured 4-week course designed for new and developing shooters seeking confidence, safety, and fundamental pistol proficiency through a guided, hybrid training format. Each week includes one in-person training session, where students receive hands-on instruction in firearm safety, pistol operation, grip, stance, trigger control, reloading, malfunction clearing, drawing from a holster, and basic marksmanship. The curriculum is progressive, ensuring each skill builds upon the last. Participants are also assigned weekly homework, including dry-fire drills, written study materials, and technique reinforcement exercises to encourage consistent practice and retention. To support accountability and personal development, students receive one remote follow-up session each week with a PARATUS instructor. These virtual check-ins provide targeted feedback, corrections, and guidance based on individual progress and practice. The program concludes with a live-fire qualification and written exam, testing both practical ability and safety knowledge. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate recognizing their achievement and demonstrated commitment to responsible firearm handling. Whether you’re preparing for concealed carry, enhancing personal defense skills, or building a solid shooting foundation, the PARATUS Basic Pistol Proficiency Program delivers the training and support you need to advance with confidence. Knowledge. Preparation. Application. Excellence. Be PARATUS Ready!
